Bridal Dress Fashion – Varied, Trendy Fashions

This year, with silhouettes ranging from short, straight and stylized to embellished, full-skirted and traditional, a bride can look forward to finding a dress that represents her own personality and reflects the style of her wedding, whatever it may be.

GLAMOUR – Sleek, sophisticated styles reminiscent of the Hollywood of the 1930’s and 40’s are prominent in this year’s Alfred Angelo collection. Smaller-scale dresses featuring empire waists, dramatic neck- and hemlines, mermaid skirts, and lighter fabrics such as chiffon reflect this trend. Trista’s gown evoked this style as well, with its slimmer, sexier styling.

Another popular style element is the shorter or tea-length dress, often shown with a fit and flair style skirt. This look is flattering to many figures and reflects the 1950’s, an era whose fashions have recently returned to the runways.
