Patriotic Wedding Dresses – A Bold and Beautiful Concept

The proprietor of Wedding Belles, Diane Roberts has come up with a bold new concept in wedding dresses and gowns for the daring Welsh brides. These patriotic wedding dresses are made of two national flags.

Wedding Belles is the Anglesey bridal wear retailer that has a huge collection of wedding gowns and bridal dresses. Recently Wedding Belles dared a Welsh bride to be different from the rest. During the Urdd Eisteddfod, Diane Roberts and her manager, Fiona Roberts displayed green, white and red bridal dresses made from the Welsh Dragon Flag in the window of Wedding Belles. The patriotic wedding dress and gown was born.

Diane Roberts wanted to have a Welsh theme for the shop window display during the Urdd Eisteddfod. The wedding gown they created of two flags became the talk of the town. Visitors stopped to take pictures and others wrote letters of encouragement, appreciating the novel idea of promoting national values, and giving a boost to culture and language.

Three genuine brides have approached Wedding Belles to try out the dress since then. All of them loved the idea but showed their disappointment when they found out that the dress was made from two flags. They would have preferred to have a dress made from their flag only. Diane is now thinking of creating a bridal gown out of the Welsh flag. She hopes to find a very special bride who will wear it.

All brides are special, no doubt, but the bride who dares to wear a red, green and white wedding dress on her marriage will be extra special.
